R. McLean Hicklin III is a First Vice President of Investments and Director with Marcus & Millichap's Hospitality Division. He is a hotelier with over 15 years of experience in the development, management and construction of hotel properties in the Southeast. In this capacity, Hicklin has orchestrated this process successfully on over 500 guest rooms totaling more than 50 million in capital investment working with a variety of hotel franchisers. McLean brings a unique perspective to hospitality brokerage with his industry experience and product knowledge. Being able to relate to the challenges and expectations that owners have and expect puts him in a unique position to succeed. The many moving parts associated with a hotel transaction are part of the challenge to running a smooth, successful process. Managing that process from start to finish is a point of pride, so much so, that that process typically is instrumental in yielding superior results for clients.
